The Ahura tiered timber bookshelf is as minimalistic as they come. Inspired by Japanese furniture, this bookshelf has undergone a series of creative and joinery transformations in the past decade and is now boasting the status of our flagship piece. 

The upright legs are made in our Melbourne shop using premium American Oak to ensure long-lasting durability. The shelves are made of premium-grade solid American oak. 

This piece is entirely customisable as per your size, finish and timber requirements (see our picks of custom requests). You can also easily secure the unit to the wall learn more here.

If you are based in Melbourne you also have the option of having the Ahura constructed using fixed joinery and not a flat pack. We can send the flat pack option Australia-wide. We can, however, arrange special delivery or you can book a free pickup from our Huntingdale shop.

All products are available in three primary finishes and a range of customised colors. 

Primary Finishes:

Lead Time:

All orders will ship in 6 to 8 weeks, depending on the piece, availability of the material, and custom options. As each piece is handmade on order, the lead time may extend beyond 8 weeks in which case you will be notified by an email. Contact us for more accurate lead time on one-off pieces.

Returns & Cancellations:

If the order arrives damaged or faulty, we provide free pickup and a full refund, including shipping cost upon return.

Our quality of work is guaranteed. However, if you find the quality less than satisfactory, you can return the item in the original packaging at our cost and get a full refund within 30 days.

Change of Mind:

You can cancel you order at any point during processing time if you buy standard sizes. Please note custom orders including and not limited to custom stain, size and timber cannot be cancelled. If you decide to cancel custom orders you will forfeight 30-70% of the cost depending on the progress of your order.

Warranty:

We provide a 10-year structural warranty, including joinery and timber integrity and a 2-year warranty on the finish when it's not damaged, scratched or stained.

Regional Areas:

The cost of delivery to regional areas is subject to the shipping date, quote from our courier service, and will be advised before the item dispatches.

Care:

• We always use kiln-dried premium timber to ensure stability over time. That said, our products are intended for indoor use unless stated otherwise.
• Exposure to rain, excessive humidity or direct sunlight will compromise the finish and timber stability.

Cleaning:

• Always use a soft damp cloth to clean your furniture and avoid using detergent and other chemicals.
• When using our shelves to display your plants, make sure your pots are placed in trays to protect the finish from water exposure.
• Please do not place hot cups on your coffee tables and similar items to avoid leaving rings. Always use a coaster.
